I use a mod for this as well pregnancies last 7 sim days in my game but I'm not on Epic (it just feels like it sometimes).DISCLAIMER 1: The following settings for Retuner are now so vast it has become impossible for me to check every single one, with the limited time I have for this game at the moment. I take it you are using Retuner or another party's tuning mod to adjust the lengths of pregnancy? Just to clarify if I could, Relativity doesn't have any impact on pregnancy. ( I like the use of plum as a bad word u can change it to anything u want and have a good laugh lol) It is so much fun to do this as playing with epic setting having the pregnancy lasting longer i have more realisme in the game and if someone gets pregnant that i did not want i have time to switch over to that sim and send her/him(alien-plums) over to the hospital to get an abotion. (Plus a number of other settings that has with the pregnacy to do) The woman has still not noticed that she is pregnant and has been pregnant for a few simsdays now. Well it can be a bit confusing, but i managed to change the pregnacy length to 3 seasons as a normal female (9 months out of 12) had to do a little math to cange 28x3 days into minutes and then deside that the pregnancy would not start showing till the third moth (day 28-29) as is more typical human. Not being able to skill up in between classes and study time more easily while there for only a sim week or two seems to hurt sims' grades too much. When playing in Uni World, I currently switch off the Life Span Skill Factor. Charisma I've throttled even more and am still toying with that one as sociable sims still pick that skill up far too easily. Got tired of having Level 10s all over the place just because the sims read some books, worked out, or baked some pies while they were still teens. My intent is to make it so that only the rare and exceptionally dedicated or talented sims ever make it above Level 7 or so in most skills.

I've got a lifespan of 242 sim days and use the Apply Life Span Skill Factor plus a small extra penalty (0.85 currently) on most of the Skill Gain Factors. On skills, that's currently a work in progress for me as well. Those settings take some experimentation. I've also had to adjust the Motive Delta and Motive Decay settings on Hunger and Energy a bit so that both active and inactive sims are hungry at least 2x a day and so that they don't keep waking up at 3am fully refreshed or become exhausted and start yawning all over my screen before dinnertime when not performing particularly energy draining tasks. I tried 19, which is apparently the most popular, but things happen too quickly for me at that level. I use a Speed Setting of 23, no intervals. NRaas > Relativity > Apply Life Span Skill Factor But for spans more like 200 or 400 sim days, this one works much better. In fact, we've had players with life spans of 2,000 sim days note that switching this factor on causes such a huge penalty on skilling rates (.001 or whatever it is) that their sims cannot successfully skill up at all. You can, in addition, choose to apply an extra skill factor (try a fraction less than 1 such as 0.75 or 0.67 to start) to slow things down a bit more if they are still getting carried away.įor those playing Long or Epic lifespans, or playing rotationally with skilling allowed when "your" sims are inactive, the setting that will have the greatest impact would be Apply Life Span Skill Factor. But at Relativity speeds around 24, the effect is subtle. Relativity does adjust skill gain rates automatically by default, unless you switch that option off.
